The stab resistant anti-riot suit was designed to effectively help protect those professionals who have to deal with prison riots, public disorder, mass searches or other serious disturbances.A wide array of weapons are employed in these conflicts, ranging from knives and makeshift edged weapons to snooker cues, shards of glass or ceramic tiles, razor blades, sharpened bed or table frame legs, wooden objects, socks filled with snooker balls, broken bottles, hypodermic needles and spikes, fire extinguishers, as well as rocks or bricks, among others.
